  3. Approve final files

  4. Publish and track your book

ISBN & Copyright

ISBN

An ISBN (International Standard Book Number) is required for global distribution.

At Eubooks:

  • You may use your own ISBN, or

  • Opt for an Eubooks-provided ISBN

If Eubooks provides the ISBN, Eubooks will be listed as the publisher of record for distribution purposes only.

Copyright

Copyright always remains 100% with the author.

Eubooks does not claim ownership of:

  • Manuscript

  • Cover design commissioned by the author

  • Intellectual property or derivative rights

(until and unless written in the contract)

Printing & Distribution

Eubooks operates on a Print-on-Demand (POD) model. Books are printed only when an order is placed, eliminating inventory risk for authors.

Distribution channels may include:

  • Major Indian online bookstores

  • International marketplaces (where applicable)

  • Direct author orders

Availability varies by format, region, and platform policies. Distribution reach will be clearly communicated before publication.

Pricing & Royalties

Authors have control over the selling price of their books, within minimum pricing limits dictated by printing and distribution costs.

Royalties:

  • Calculated as:

Selling Price – Printing Cost – Platform Fees

  • Royalties are transparent and documented

  • No hidden deductions

  • Click here to calculate the printing cost.

Royalty percentages may vary by:

  • Book format

  • Distribution channel

  • Geography

Payments & Timelines

Royalty payments are processed on a scheduled payout cycle.

General payment terms:

  • Royalties are calculated after confirmed sales

  • Payments are made after the applicable return and settlement period

  • Payment methods: Bank transfer (India)

Detailed timelines and thresholds will be shared in the author agreement.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Authors often delay or complicate publishing by making avoidable errors:

  • Submitting unedited manuscripts

  • Ignoring formatting guidelines

  • Unrealistic pricing expectations

  • Expecting automatic sales without marketing

  • Frequent changes after approval

Understanding the process early helps save time, cost, and frustration.
